Crossovers between the two universes keep happening. The Scorpion attacks Access, Robin and Jubilee in Gotham, but is stopped by Batman, who enables Access to send the Scorpion back to his own universe.

Access enlists the aid of Batman and his detective skills to help figure out what is behind all the crossovers. Clues are put together that implicate Doctor Strange. Batman travels with Access to the Marvel Universe to confront the Doctor. As Doctor Strange and Batman are discussing the problem, Jubilee shows up with the X-men. Arguing and fighting begin. Batman holds his own against the X-Men for a while only to be subdued. At this point Access shows up, (he left during the fighting) with the JLA. The comic ends here to be concluded in #4.
